Vladimir Putin employs Jedi mind trick

After singing some patriotic songs with the 10 recently returned Russian spies who were operating in America, Vladimir Putin pinched his fingers together and somewhere the person responsible for outing the spies choked to death.

Of the Russian spies capture, Putin (actually) said they were betrayed and that "traitors always end badly. They finish up as drunks, addicts, on the street."

Not much is known about how the spies were captured, but one thing is certain: it really, really, really sucks to be the guy that the Russians think did. Odds are Putin is trying to publicly shake up the nest of spies to see what comes flying out. Whatever (or whoever) does is likely his man.

The former KGB Colonel was later pressed as to how he would handle whoever betrayed the spies. "This cannot be decided at a press conference. The secret services live by their own laws, and those laws are well known to all secret service co-workers."

What is known is that a New York-based Russian spy who defected in 2000 died of a heart attack last month. What isn't known is whether that's related to this at all, but it is convenient.

Russia likes to leave its mark, however, either with polonium poisonings or dioxin, so odds are when it happens, we'll know it when it happens.
