Chuck Norris published a birthday greeting to President Barack Obama this morning. Mr. Norris, who provided an eloquent, well-supported argument that Mr. Obama should show the world his birth certificate, provided an eloquent, well-supported argument, confusing most of his followers.
Presidents have often argued for or against full disclosure of personal information. Mr. Norris, whose tears reportedly cure cancer, noted that Obama's birth certificate may have personal information regarding his parents, or the state of the president's personal health, and that there should be some respect given to this matter.
What he didn't state, and what most conspirators addressing the birth certificate issue don't address, is the fact that if Mr. Obama is in fact a third-national muslim spy bent on deflowering the Statue of Liberty then we really deserve whatever is coming our way. That all said, I'm skeptical that's his tactic. So far he hasn't declared war on any country; his vice president never headed an opaque, no-bid contract defense firm; and he doesn't wear a turban.
It could be that Mr. Obama doesn't have anything to hide. Instead, he might realize that if he were to react and publicly display his birth certificate, that the same contingent he aimed to please would immediately denounce it as a hoax, and demand further proof and further proof still. It could be that he just has better things to do, and so should we.
Didn't CNN show the Presidents birth certificate and once and for all de-bunk this. I can't believe this is still and issue. Then again I don't get much news over here.
