Colbert's "Persian Gulf" trip is finally here. The man arrived on Friday, and by Sunday he was having his head shaved in Al Faw palace by Commander LTG Odierno on order of Barack Obama. Colbert will be filming live in front of 450 soldiers every night this week, reminding America that in fact the war in Iraq must be over because the news stopped talking about it.
This is the first time a USO-styled show has been broadcast from Iraq.
Dude, more awesome than the head shaving is the ACU suit- I saw a guy in the Pentagon whereing one and it was just sad. Colbert makes it F-Awesome!!
ReplyDeleteI agree the suit was great, he had a "Stephan Colbert Going Commando" Patch on his left shoulder. Best time I've had in Iraq, minus Popeye's every Wednesday.
