Hiroshima Before and After
Sixty-four years ago last Saturday, Japan surrendered, ending World War II. The Japanese surrendered in large part because of the atomic bombings of Hiroshima. Here are the before and after photos of the city. Notice the snow in the mountain crevices has melted on the left side of the 'after' image.
