On this day in 1927, the first long-distance TV transmission was sent from Washington, D.C. to New York City. The image broadcast was of Commerce Secretary Herbert Hoover.
Last night I watched "I Love Money 2" on Vh1. A man named "Tailor-Made" earned safety from elimination by throwing the most mannequins under a bus driven by a man in a sombrero. Tailor-Made then had to decide whether to eliminate an asian woman named "Cali" or a black man named "It".
Ultimately, Tailor-Made chose to eliminate Cali by voiding her overly large check for $250,000 because of her alliance with "20 Pac", a nickname given to the contestant because of his abdominal strength. "It" then sang a song about her elimination.
